Red Pointe Shoes is a canvas print of my original painting, exhibited at the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory in 2011 as part of an exhibition dedicated to dance.
The painting explores rhythm and movement: overlapping figures capture successive phases of a dance, while the red marks trace the movement of pointe shoes across the stage.
Printed on a slim canvas that arrives ready to hang.
